The car is expected to have a 1.5 liter 3 cylinder turbocharged direct injected engine paired with 126 KW electric motor that produces 131 horsepower. Both power plants will generate an impressive 354 horsepower and 406 lb ft of torque with a top speed of 155 mph. The car will sprint out from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds. With a fully charged electric motor, the car can travel up to 19 miles. The battery can fully charge in two hours with a 240V power supply. However, we can just hope and wait to get the an impressive real world performance from the 2014 BMW i8 concept roadster.
