Exterior and Interior

The 2014 Toyota Corolla is the latest version of the Corolla and so you can expect that the car will feature almost everything upgraded and innovative. The wheelbase and the length of the new version are increased by four inches with tight overhangs and a bit lower and wider that make the new compact sedan look leaner and elastic. The 2014 Toyota Corolla offers two engine choices, a 1.8 liter all-aluminum four cylinder engine that is the base engine and produces 132 horsepower and 128 lb ft of torque. The L, LE and S trim are powered by the base 1.8 liter engine. For the maximum fuel efficiency, the Toyota offered a 1.8 liter four cylinder engine featuring Valvematic for the LE Eco trim produces 140 horsepower and the front wheel drive is standard.

The 2014 Toyota Corolla gets either a six speed manual transmission or an optional four speed automatic transmission whereas the L, LE and LE models get a CVT with 7 simulated gear ratios and the S models get paddle shifters. The car sprints out from 0-60 mph in an estimated 9.0 seconds.

Safety Features

The new 2014 Toyota Corolla gets eight standard airbags, Toyota’s Smart Stop Technology and Toyota’s Star Safety system that features traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution, stability control, antilock braking system and brake assist.
