Mercedes-Benz is all set to display the 2015 model of its GLA45 AMG. The vehicle is a recognized compact SUV from the German auto manufacturer and is already counted as a profitable one. However, it has been revamped for the next year and will be unveiled at North American International Auto Show, to be held at Detroit from January 13 to 26.

GLA45 AMG will be presenting an enhanced set of design and features that would stun you at the first glimpse. It will be uncovered by Hubert Lee, Creative Director at Mercedes-Benz Advance Design Division. The car has already been revealed once in Los Angeles last November.

Let me enlighten you with some of its salient features.

Engine and Speeding: This compact SUV owns all that an AMG should have. Enclosing a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that can generate up to 355 horsepower, the GLA45 can easily shoot to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, while the claimed top speed is stated as 250 km/h. These figures prove the sportiness of this AMG concept.

Gears and Transmission: The 2015 Mercedes Benz GLA45 AMG provides you with a swift driving experience through its seven-speed dual-clutch AMG sports transmission. The adaptable SPEEDSHIFT transmission offers you with four different transmission modes. These include: Race Start launch mode, Controlled Efficiency mode, Sports mode, and Manual mode – letting you experience diverse rides required by the situation.

Design and Exteriors: The designers have applied tinny tiny tweaks from the twin-blade front grille, AMG badge, side sills, to the tailpipes. Rest of the features may vary depending on the three different design packages, which are: Aerodynamic, Night, and Carbon-Fiber. Each of these delivers a whole new look with a different racing theme.

Design and Interiors: Just like the outer appearance, the elegance within is duly sustained by the designers. Whether these are the hand-made seats or the sports steering, each bit of the car displays an excessive sporty look.

Pricing and Availability: Although the price figures for 2015 Mercedes-Bens GLA45 AMG are yet to be announced, they are expected to be a slight higher than those of its prior version, which currently demands a starting price of over 48K. The Detroit Motor Show will be featuring its production version, while the final GLA45 AMG will hit the roads later this year.

As the days are counting down towards 2014 NAIAS, we will definitely hear the response of the audience at Detroit. Considering the appreciations that the same model collected in LA, the forecasts are quite positive.
