Jaguar C-X17 is among the latest concept vehicles that was first launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a design study that would particularly focus on the Jaguar’s new advanced aluminum monocoque architecture that will be the base for some of the sports saloon in the future. Jaguar C-X17 has now been honored with an award for Concept Vehicle Interior Design at the Automotive Interiors Expo 2014 Awards. The awards were hosted in Stuttgart and honors some of the world’s finest interior designers, innovations and products and comprises of all automotive interior excellence and innovation.
Jaguar mentioned that they are delighted with the kind of appreciation and honor that they have received and that they have won the award for it. Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum said that they have worked hard to make sure that the interior design of Jaguar C-X17 was innovative and hi-tech to ensure it suits the modern lifestyle. He said that they have to make it luxurious, timeless and stylish which was the challenge that they took up. The judging panel said that they were impressed with the interactive technology and the kind of materials that have been used to improve the interiors of the vehicle to make it comfortable for the driver and the passengers.
