Do you know which car holds the title of world’s fastest car in Guinness World Records? Drive Benfield has designed an infographic which depicts everything from the world’s fastest production cars to the affordable speedsters that don’t cost you a fortune.
Guinness World Records recognize the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport as the fastest car in the world. The super car achieved 267.86 mph to register itself in the world’s record book. Ironically, the car that broke this record maxing at 270.49 mph (Hennessey Venom GT) was not able to replace Veyron’s name from the Guinness book. Check out the infographic to know the reason.
The infographic reveals that the world’s fastest sprinter is not the Veyron or the Venom GT, but the award goes to Porsche 918 Spyder that can accomplish 0-60 mph in a blazing 2.2 seconds. Additionally, you find the fastest BMW road car, the BMW M4 GTS, which is though expensive but is superfast with a top speed of 190 mph.
Other top performers in the fastest cars arena with a reasonable price tag include the Nissan 350Z Nismo and Mitsubishi EVO VIII.
It’s time to buy your dream speedster, check out the full infographic for more details.
