Kilbeggan, Ireland is set to host the 25th annual All-American Car, Truck & Bike Show this weekend, showcasing over 300 American vehicles from Harley Davidson motorcycles to monster Big Rig Kenworths, Peterbilts, Internationals, Macks and Freightliners, American Fire Engines and pick-up trucks old and new. The event, organized by the Midland American Auto Club, promises an exciting day out for car, truck and bike enthusiasts from across the Midlands and beyond. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a diverse range of American vehicles, including iconic film cars like the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Dodge Charger, Starsky & Hutch red and white Ford Torinos, and the KITT Pontiac Trans Am. **Featured Vehicles** • Fire engines from New York’s 9/11 • 1970s American rock music • A vintage 1969 Cadillac Eldorado 2 door coupe, reportedly purchased by Elvis Presley • Harley Davidson motorcycles • Monster Big Rig Kenworths, Peterbilts, Internationals, Macks and Freightliners • American Fire Engines A highlight of the show will be the display of fire engines, including the turntable ladder engine from Glen Cove in New York, which saw service during the 9/11 attacks. This impressive piece of equipment can extend its ladder to 100 feet (30 metres) and shoot water 100 feet into the air. In addition to the impressive display of American vehicles, visitors will also enjoy live music, drawing classes for kids, and a great selection of food and coffee trucks. There will be automotive-related vendors inside the sheds, and a reserved area for non-American vintage vehicles to park and show off their classic cars, lorry or van. For those with mobility issues, there will be disabled parking near the showfield entrance. A special entry fee of just €10 (cash) applies to adults, with accompanying kids under-14 going free.
