DesignWorksUSA Brings Out e-Patrol Vehicle at LA Auto Show

LA Auto Show

The LA Auto Show is not just a place where consumers and companies can find some of the new vehicles that are going to launch in the market but also a destination for creative minds to showcase their vision for vehicles in the future.

BMW’s subsidiary DesignWorksUSA has always remained the creative consultancy of the parent company for forty years and now they have decided to come up with some serious patrol vehicle that can help law enforcement officers to handle their work in a better way on the roads. Hence, they have come up with the visionary ePatrol concept vehicle that will help BMW to get many international clients in the future.

Laurenz Schaffer, President of BMW DesignWorksUSA said that the biggest challenge for the designers was the design itself. The designers had to think way ahead of time to create futuristic patrol vehicles that have advanced technology, speed, agility, and better solutions that can overcome all the possible situations when they are working on the busy streets. The design team said that they always thought that in the future there will be more cars and more traffic on the street which means that they have to work on a patrol vehicle that can get through the traffic jam in no time. The ePatrol concept incorporates modular structure of the vehicle with drone technology that offers better teamwork and accessibility in the future and every car has three drone structures that can make the job easier for most law enforcement officers patrolling the highway.
