BMW has been reinventing the company brand and the kind of style factor and performance that they add to their vehicles. The all new BMW 5 Series is something that combines some of the finest elements of some of the previous signature models that BMW launched in the market. BMW claims that the encouragement to bring out the new BMW 5 Series comes from the kind of market response that they have received where they have sold more than one million units of BMW 5 Series Sedan, Touring and Gran Turismo. BMW claims that with the launch of the new 5 Series they will add lot more options and features for the consumers to make their driving experience even better.
Design Factor
BMW claims that they are working to upgrade the design factor for all the cars in the new BMW 5 Series and therefore consumers will be able to differentiate between the new and the previous BMW 5 Series. The automaker said that both BMW 5 Series Sedan and Touring will have additional contour lines around the much popular BMW kidney grille and will also have new structured lower air intakes that make the car appear sporty. There will also be an extra crease in the apron and both the vehicles will be slimmer compared to the earlier counterparts.
On the other hand, BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo will have modified front apron and redesigned rear end to create an impression that the car is much longer than the previous version. BMW also said that they will add xenon headlamps to all the three cars while Adaptive LED headlights will be available optional for buyers. All the three cars will also have side indicators integrated in the exterior mirrors while better packages are available for buyers who want to enhance the exterior features.
BMW has always been keen on better engines and this time BMW has decided to offer BMW 5 Series Sedan and Touring in four petrol and six diesel engines offering a wide range of engine options for the consumers. While most of the engines remain the same as the earlier version the results will be different and improved in terms of fuel efficiency. All the engines will meet the EU6 specifications. All the three cars will have Brake Energy Regeneration, Auto Start-Stop function and eight speed automatic transmission for superior performance.
In terms of the driving experience inside the vehicle, all the three vehicles BMW 5 Series Sedan, Touring and Gran Turismo now has BMW ConnectedDrive technology for connectivity, infotainment, safety and convenience.
