The eight generation of Passat is already here and Volkswagen has announced the new 2015 Volkswagen Passat that will have a starting price of 25,875 EUR and above. The all-new 2015 Volkswagen Passat will include some new features and will be available in estate and sedan versions in the European market. The vehicle will go on sale on 10 July 2014. In terms of exteriors there are some changes that are made for improved styling and performance. The vehicle has also shed some weight and it is 85 kilos lighter than the earlier model.
The all-new Passat will have an option of 10 direct injection turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. The engines will be mated with six speed manual transmission that will offer better speed and acceleration. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds and it fits the Euro 6 emission regulations. The 2015 Volkswagen Passat also gets better interiors and safety features.
